WestJet announced the launch of a limited-time, non-stop route between Ottawa and Cancun, Mexico beginning March 4, 2009.

In addition to Cancun, WestJet also flies non-stop from Ottawa to Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando, making it the airline of choice for Ottawans travelling to sun destinations this winter.
